O'Connor – UX &amp; UI Portfolio &amp; Blog</h3>As a Senior / Lead UX/UI designer, I align creative design concepts with technical and business know-how, collaborate with fellow researchers and designers, developers, data scientists and business stakeholders to define and deliver new products and features, translate concepts into living, breathing prototypes, and iterate on interactions and details to deliver the best experience.My strengths lie in my ability to align user experience methodologies, technology &amp; business goals, drawing from my interests and experiences in UX design &amp; research; service &amp; interaction design; behavioural economics &amp; cognitive psychology; data analytics &amp; front end development. I’m a problem solver, design-thinker &amp; a lifelong learner.I have had the pleasure of working with awesome teams across retail and e-ecommerce, publishing and digital marketing, healthcare and medTech, fintech and media, in software development companies and innovation labs. I also worked agency-side, and ran my own boutique digital design business for a number of years.I’ve been part of award winning teams, worked on one of the world’s oldest general medical journals, and helped launch a fintech startup MVP for funding.I’ve been fortunate enough to work with amazing brands, such as John Lewis, Tesco (Enterprise), QVC, The British Medical Journal (The BMJ) and the Investoo Group  in the UK; Disney Media; Livanova PLC, Idera Inc. &amp; Sembi in the US, and more.I’m a happy UX / Interaction designer hybrid, who enjoys conducting generative research, prototyping lo- and hi-fidelity concepts (from sketches to code) and running evaluative user-testing, all while collaborating closely with business, product and engineering teams to help deliver on the experience.I’ve studied Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) to MSc Level at City, University of London and I’m a keen writer who likes to blog about UX/UI design and development.
